Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt crew were astonished by her performance in the first class. Jessica's first time in the United States for a big film character, considering that previous films were made in Australia. The role capitalizes on Jessica's love for action with her mixed disciplines of horse riding, martial arts, weapon skills, and athletic ability that allows her to perform tricks and truly play the role of a strong woman. In Australia she learned muay Thai along with boxing. Jake Stormoen, working on Season 4 of the show, met a stray puppy who was wandering around the set. One of the pups was residing on one of the set. Jessica took care of two puppies.
